JV Tower I Prague I 2007 I Corinthia Group of Companies

A significant high-rise residential building in the exposed location of the Prague pentagon on Pankrac plain, designed as a thin tower with an oval shaped layout plan with sculpturally shaped glass facades that "wrap" it like leaves, graduate to the upper floor and then disappear in the sky. The leaves are detached from the central mass, thus supporting the verticality of the building and at the same time giving the facade an impression of lightness and plasticity. The building is turned with its narrowest side towards the city centre, therefore it appears as elegant as possible from distant views, especially from the ramp of Prague Castle.

The building stands on a pedestal with office premises and materially completes the composition of the street front. On the roof of the pedestal there is a wellness centre with a swimming pool and on the upper floor of the tower there is a café accessible for public with a beautiful view of the city centre and the surrounding area.
